I always knew he’d be a great dad.
It’s more than the fact that he’s nurturing and steady and kind, not in the least self-conscious about demonstrating affection, and just plain decent in that old-fashioned way that’s not really glamorous, but is always sensed and respected. And if you’ve ever met him, you know that he’s also playful, fun, funny, quick-witted as well as terminally silly, and like Anne of Green Gables’ ideal man, just a little bit wicked. When at one point, it seemed like we might never have kids, I felt doubly bad. First for Zac, because he wanted and should have had little ones to love and enjoy and secondly for our hypothetical children – that they might never exist to be influenced by him. I have a lot to be thankful for this year.
Happy Father’s Day, Mr. Wonderful.
And a special Happy Father’s Day to some special first time fathers: Ali, Rob, & Tony (as well as a joyous everyday-is-mother’s-day greetings to Maribel, Ellen, and Cindy).

Shame on me. I didn't realize you were adding to the blog. I just happened to need a Chloe fix and decided to see ogle at some of the older pictures.
Some night or middle of the night I will come here and see new pictures and stories of my precious ones.
